More durable PVC banner material

Coated PVC banners for longer campaigns

Coated PVC offers stronger yarn construction and better resistance to repeated handling than an economy banner. It is a sensible choice for longer campaigns, reusable event graphics and installations exposed to more demanding conditions.

A step up from economy frontlit

When is coated PVC worth choosing?

Use coated PVC when the banner will remain installed longer, may be mounted several times or needs better mechanical resistance than a basic frontlit banner.

🏢
Longer outdoor campaigns
Business premises, façades and fenced areas where the graphic is expected to remain in place for months.
🔁
Reusable event graphics
Banners that are transported, rolled, stored and installed more than once.
🏟️
Sports and venue branding
Perimeter graphics and branded zones requiring a stronger substrate.

Why coated PVC is more durable

The coated construction provides more stable reinforcement around the internal mesh than a basic laminated banner. This improves resistance to handling and local mechanical stress.

It does not make the banner indestructible. Correct mounting and sufficient fixing points remain essential.

Recommended finishing

For most outdoor installations we recommend welded edges and eyelets. Large banners may require closer eyelet spacing, pockets or additional reinforcement agreed before production.

Send a photo of the mounting location if you are unsure which finish is appropriate.

Artwork and production

Supply print-ready PDF files in CMYK. Text should be converted to outlines or fonts embedded. Images should be prepared for the expected viewing distance.

Production normally takes 3–5 working days after approval, depending on quantity and finishing.

Frequently asked questions

Is coated PVC suitable for permanent signs?

It is suitable for longer campaigns, but it is still a flexible banner. Permanent signage may require a rigid board or another construction.

Is it better than standard PVC?

It is mechanically stronger and better for repeated use. Standard PVC remains more economical for short campaigns.

Can it be printed on both sides?

For two-sided graphics we normally recommend blockout banner material to prevent show-through.

Can you add pockets instead of eyelets?

Yes. Pockets and custom finishing are available after confirming the mounting system.

What sizes are available?

Custom sizes are available. Very large graphics may be joined from several printed sections.

How should it be stored?

Roll it print-side out around a core. Do not fold it, as creases may remain visible.
