Cover existing graphics and difficult backgrounds
Self-adhesive film with black adhesive for strong coverage
The black adhesive layer improves opacity and helps hide colours, text and old graphics underneath. It is useful for rebranding boards, temporary promotions and applications where a standard grey adhesive may not provide enough coverage.

When is black adhesive useful?
Choose it when the background must be hidden reliably — for example when covering an old print, changing brand colours or applying a new graphic over a visually inconsistent surface.
Why the adhesive is black
The dark adhesive layer reduces the influence of the substrate and improves coverage. This is especially useful over strong colours or old printed graphics.
It does not correct an uneven, damaged or textured surface. Surface preparation is still essential.
Suitable substrates
Best results are achieved on smooth, clean, dry and stable boards, glass and suitable painted surfaces.
Loose paint, silicone, dirt, wax and damaged old film must be removed. Unknown surfaces should be tested before production.
Lamination and durability
Gloss or matt lamination protects the print from abrasion and cleaning. It is recommended for frequently touched surfaces and longer use.
Durability depends on exposure, edge sealing, substrate condition and cleaning methods.
Files and cutting
Supply CMYK PDF artwork with bleed. Simple rectangular cuts are standard; contour cutting requires a closed vector cut line.
Send exact dimensions and a photo of the surface when the film will cover an existing graphic.
Frequently asked questions
Will it fully hide an old graphic?
It offers much stronger opacity than standard film, but very uneven relief or damaged layers may still remain visible.
Can it be applied over another film?
Sometimes, if the existing film is firmly bonded, smooth and clean. Removal is still the safer option for long-term work.
Is lamination necessary?
Not always, but it is recommended for abrasion, frequent cleaning or extended use.
Can it be contour-cut?
Yes, provided a correct vector cut path is supplied.
Is it suitable for vehicles?
Only after confirming the exact material and application. Standard monomeric products are not intended for complex vehicle wrapping.
Can you install it in Wrocław?
Yes. Installation is quoted from dimensions, photos and access details.
